Camouflage

Spotting camouflaged creatures underwater is a tricky task needing a good eye and a fair bit of luck. The pictures in this gallery are not a real representation of that difficulty because in each case, you are seeing something that has been singled out and shown in a restricted frame without all the other clutter around. Additionally, the creature has to a degree been "pulled out" of its background when I focussed my camera on its most critical area - usually the eyes.
