Anemone Gully, St. Abbs Head
This is a spectacular dive site at the NW corner of St. Abbs Head. Tidal movement is very strong here and all the rocks and gulley walls are completely encrusted with invertebrate life, primarily comprised of plumose anemones (or Metridium senile) and soft corals (Alcyonium digitatum) which feed on the plentiful supply of plankton and suspended matter.
